World Ranking places UAlg as the best Portuguese university in international projection

According to the results made available by Times Higher Education (THE), the University of Algarve once again obtains the highest score among Portuguese universities in the indicator that evaluates international projection. 

UAlg is part of this world ranking of universities for the fifth consecutive year, remaining between positions 801 and 1000, although the 2022 edition of the ranking includes 135 more institutions compared to the previous year.

This ranking considers that the strongest point of the Algarve Academy continues to be its international projection, placing it in position 341 among the 1662 institutions evaluated from 99 countries.

The 2022 edition of this ranking is prepared, like the previous ones, taking into account the various aspects of the institutions, such as teaching, research, international projection (teachers, students and research) and knowledge transfer.
